Facilities available to hirers of the memorial hall.

Facilities

The Hall’s facilities include wheelchair access and a disabled toilet. There is a newly refurbished kitchen which offers the use of an electric cooker, two kettles, a water boiler, microwave and a fridge. We have enough crockery and cutlery to accommodate parties of 120. The Hall has 12 small square tables ( seating 4 each) and 12 large oblong ones ( seating 8 each), together with comfortable chairs.

The Hall has a stage area complete with spotlights. There is also a sound system complete with microphones and a mixing desk through which music can be played either by CD or direct from lap tops and MP3 players. If you wish to use either of these facilities, you should advise the Booking Officer at the time of booking. Arrangements can then be made for hirers to be shown how to use them.

There is a separate bar area. Hirers have to make their own arrangements regarding the bar. We recommend The Falcon Inn who will organise the bar and also apply for the necessary licence. Their phone number is 01952 550241.

There is a car park that can accommodate 50 cars.
